January 19-26th, 2018

We love Kindergarten! With celebrating MLK, the 100th day of school, and a field trip to Shamrock Farms, we have had a busy 2 weeks. We are learning so much and enjoying every step!

Using math counters to add as one of our strategies to solve math problems.

One of our MLK activities, we are learning the song "My Own Two Hands" by Jack Johnson. SO sweet.

We made bird feeders in Garden class and wrote about them in our garden journals!

100th day of school fun!

Personal Narrative Writing- My students LOVE writing time. It makes my heart so happy to see them so engaged. We pick quiet spots in the room to work, put on our writing music and special writing lights and get to work. The writing pieces they create are simply amazing!

Fun with math!

We love reading with our Valentine pointers!
